Rainbow Party Styled Shoot

If you know me at all you know that i am OBSESSED with color. It is literally scientifically proven to make us happier and feel more energized, so why not put as much of that joy into our lives as possible!

For this party styled shoot, I got to choose the theme myself. So obviously I had to choose RAINBOW! I had the absolute time of my life collecting all of these color-packed decor and food items to style the party with.

I collaborated with The Dessert Studio from American Fork, Utah. My jaw legitimately dropped as soon as they brought the cakes in! They provided some of THE most gorgeous, not to mention DELICIOUS, cakes I have ever seen! It was so fun to collaborate with them and together we created such a fun colorful little party setup!

I made a simple, 6-foot balloon garland with a rainbow selection of pastel balloons, attached to the wall with command hooks and string.

I also DIY-ed my own simple tassel garland using pink, yellow, and light blue streamers and string. I tied this to the front of the table to add a little something to the lower part of the setup.

How cute are these colorful old-fashioned sodas?? The second I decided on my rainbow theme I knew I wanted to incorporate these lil’ cuties! Not only do they serve as the designated drink for each guest, but they also *double up* as table decor – adding a vibrant and unexpected pop of color to the scene.

For my table runner, I simply collected four different colors and laid them across the table to create a colorful, whimsical center piece runner.

One of my favorite tricks, especially for fun kids parties, is to use candy and in this case, also some cutie meringues curtesy of The Dessert Studio, as confetti, and sprinkle them through the center of the table.

I also doubled up cute rock candy suckers as a party favor and as colorful table decor!

xoxo, party with carly
